Polycoat ThemeCoat™ spray applied polyurethane hard coating for polystyrene and low density foams are designed to protect expanded polystyrene, urethane foam, scenery and props from impact. ThemeCoat™ provides an impact resistant shell that is sprayed on to add a durable, abrasion resistant finish to most lightweight foams, expanded polystyrenes and most other lightweight substrates. ThemeCoat™ is offered in a non fire retardant and a Class 1 E84 FR rating.
ThemeCoat™ is fast curing and exhibits good flow out characteristics resulting in a smooth glossy finish that will help reduce post application finish and coat labor. Some of the typical Theme Industry applications include: architectural facades, studio projects, 3D signage, point of sale displays, artificial rocks, corals, tree bark, and other creative structures.
